Description:
At 318 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms near Fort Smith, or 34 miles southwest of Hardin,
moving north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Smith, Bighorn Lake and Crow Indian Reservation.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
