Description:
At 418 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 23
miles north of Miles City, moving east southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail, along with
brief heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Northwestern Custer County. This storm will
remain north of Miles City.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
