Description:
At 833 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms extending from 22 miles northeast of Colstrip to 13
miles northwest of Custer, or extending from 20 miles southeast of
Forsyth to 25 miles west of Hysham, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Forsyth, Hysham, Custer, Rosebud, Vananda, Bighorn, Cartersville
and Hathaway.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
