Description:
At 306 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 11
miles south of Ashland to 27 miles west of Biddle, or along a line
from 35 miles southeast of Colstrip to 35 miles southwest of Broadus,
moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Ashland, Otter and Moorhead.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
