Description:
At 423 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ekalaka, moving
north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Public reported quarter size hail in Ekalaka at 418 PM MDT.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Ekalaka, Medicine Rocks State Park and Willard.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and has
produced large hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
