Description:
At 842 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 23
miles northwest of Roundup to 10 miles west of Roundup, moving east
at 35 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. Weather station reported gust to 74 mph
near Lavina.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Roundup and Klein.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
