Description:
At 613 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles north of
Deadmans Basin Reservoir, or 21 miles east of Harlowton, moving
southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Central Golden Valley and East Central
Wheatland Counties.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
