Description:
At 737 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 17 miles east of
Ryegate, or 18 miles west of Roundup, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...At 725 PM, a mesonet station 7 miles north of Lavina recored
a wind gust to 66 mph.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm has produced widespread
damaging winds and is capable of producing dangerous hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
