Description:
At 621 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles east of
Alzada, or 62 miles south of Ekalaka, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Alzada DOT station reported a gust to 71 mph at 6 PM.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Southeastern Carter County.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm has produced widespread
damaging winds.
