Description: 
At 842 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 27 miles south of Fort Smith over the Bighorn Mountains, or 39 miles west of Sheridan, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail, along with very heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of South Central Big Horn and Northwestern Sheridan Counties.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flash flooding.
