* Until 330 PM MDT.
* At 224 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
21 miles south of Lame Deer to 44 miles south of Ashland, or along
a line from 39 miles south of Colstrip to 39 miles east of
Sheridan, moving northeast at 30 mph. The strongest thunderstorm
was located near Arvada as of 225 PM MDT.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Ashland, Birney, Otter, Birney Village, Moorhead, Leiter, Arvada
and Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation.
Instruction:
Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
