Description:
At 706 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Hay Springs, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Gordon, Rushville, Hay Springs, Clinton, Lone Butte, Intersection of
Beaver Creek Road and White Clay Creek Road, Highway 27 crossing the
Niobrara River, Walgren Lake State Recreation Area, and Intersection
of Highway 27 and Mills Road.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 20 between mile markers 80 and 112.
Highway 250 between mile markers 43 and 48.
