Northern Thayer County in south central Nebraska... * WHEN...Until noon CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 930 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms, including earlier in the day on Saturday and then again through the evening hours. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Area mesonet observations and radar estimates show that between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional scattered thunderstorms may move through the warned area through the overnight hours tonight, so additional rainfall up to around one inch is not out of the question. - This new Flood Warning is replacing the Flood Advisories that were in effect across portions of south central Nebraska. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
