Description:
At 657 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Dalton, or 17
miles north of Sidney, moving southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 652 PM, golf ball sized hail
was reported 10 miles northwest of Dalton.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Sidney, Dalton, Gurley, Colton, Sidney Municipal Airport, and
Cheyenne County Fairgrounds.
This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 57 and
64.
