At 1214 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Hadar to near Hoskins to 5 miles northwest of Stanton to 7 miles east of Madison, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Public. Numerous personal weather stations have reported gusts of 60 to 70 mph. Ping pong ball size hail was reported in Norfolk at 1213 am. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. These severe storms will be near... Stanton and Winside around 1220 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include Pilger, Wayne, Wisner and Wakefield.
