Description:
At 954 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ogallala,
moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Automated weather sensors have recorded multiple 60 to 70
mile per hour wind gusts across Garden and Keith counties.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Ogallala, Paxton, Brule, Sarben, Roscoe, Nevens, and Broganville.
This includes the following highways...
Highway 61 between mile markers 80 and 86, and between mile markers
91 and 93.
Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 117 and 150.
