McPherson County in west central Nebraska... * Until midnight CDT/1100 PM MDT/. * At 1106 PM CDT/1006 PM MDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Arthur to 14 miles south of Swan Lake to 13 miles northeast of Keystone, moving northeast at 50 mph. THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR MUCH OF MCPHERSON AND HOOKER COUNTIES. HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Automated weather sensors have reported multiple 70 to 80 mile per hour wind gusts across Keith and Arthur counties. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter.
