Description:
At 1131 PM CDT/1031 PM MDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along
a line extending from 7 miles northeast of Swan Lake to 25 miles
northwest of Ringgold to 10 miles southwest of Tryon, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR MUCH OF MCPHERSON AND SOUTHEASTERN
HOOKER COUNTIES.
HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Tryon, Swan Lake, Lena, Flatts, Big Lamunyon Flats, Cogill Lake, East
Cody Lake, Calora, Green Lake, Sand Beach Lake, Highway 97 crossing
the Dismal River, Diamond Bar Lake, Schnick Lake, and Shimmons Lake.

Highway 92 between mile markers 180 and 206.
Highway 97 between mile markers 32 and 61.
