At 153 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Naper to 11 miles north of Stuart to 10 miles northwest of Amelia, moving east at 65 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...At 151 AM CDT, an automated weather station reported a 65 mile per hour wind gust 12 miles southwest of Naper. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... O'Neill, Spencer, Atkinson, Stuart, Butte, Lynch, Naper, Gross, Bristow, Emmet, Dustin, Anoka, Monowi, Scottville, Hull Lake State Wildlife Management Area, Redbird State Wildlife Management Area, Opportunity, Spencer Dam, Midway, and Dorsey.
