Description:
At 739 PM CDT, A storm located 8 miles southwest of Palisade, or 12
miles northwest of Trenton, moving north at 20 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR northern Hitchcock county.
HAZARD...Three inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Chaser submitted photo of 3 inch hail 8 miles northwest of
Stratton. Hail fell at approximately 7:35 PM CT.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Palisade.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
