Description:
At 357 PM CDT/257 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located over
Paxton, or 19 miles east of Ogallala, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...At 355 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported tennis
ball sized hail just west of Paxton.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Paxton, Sarben, and Sutherland Reservoir State Recreation Area.
This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 144 and
156.
