* WHAT...For today, west winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph for Pyramid Lake, Lahontan, and Rye Patch Reservoirs. Wave heights 1 to 3 feet on Pyramid Lake. For Friday, west winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph for Pyramid Lake, Lahontan, and Rye Patch Reservoirs. Wave heights 2 to 4 feet on Pyramid Lake. * WHERE...Western Nevada Basin and Range including Pyramid Lake. * WHEN...For the first Lake Wind Advisory, from 2 PM this afternoon to 11 PM PDT this evening. For the second Lake Wind Advisory, from 11 AM Friday to 11 PM PDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions improve. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds may subside below criteria early Saturday morning before increasing again in the afternoon.
