At 527 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Clark, or near Plainfield, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Newark, Elizabeth, Bayonne, Plainfield, Linden, Harrison, Todt Hill,
Port Richmond, Clark, Union, Tompkinsville, East Orange, Irvington,
Westfield, and Rahway.
