Description:
At 945 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Kingston, or 10
miles southwest of New Brunswick, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. Strong to damaging winds can occur ahead
of any rain associated with a gust front.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.

Trenton, New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Somerville, Sandy Hook,
Somerset, Edison, Middletown, Old Bridge, East Brunswick,
Bridgewater, South Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick, Marlboro,
Manalapan, Ewing, Carteret, Tinton Falls, and Holmdel.
People at the St. Michaels Fair should seek safe shelter immediately!

Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 358 and 359.
Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 36 and 43.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 13.
Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 53 and 76.
Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 20.
Garden State Parkway between mile markers 110 and 133.

building.

by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
