* Until 445 PM EDT.
* At 1240 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Middlesex.

Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 44.
Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 27 and 42.
Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 40 and 47.
Garden State Parkway between mile markers 126 and 134.
Instruction:
Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
