Description: 
At 306 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses. Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Trenton, Sandy Hook, Middletown, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, Ewing, Holmdel, Princeton, Red Bank, Keansburg, Matawan and Jamesburg. This includes the following highways... Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 66 and 76. New Jersey Turnpike near exit 9. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 112 and 120.
