* Until 100 PM EDT.
* At 849 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2.5 inches in
1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Newton, Blairstown, Franklin, Ogdensburg, Hope, Andover,
Greendell, Allamuchy-Panther Valley, Great Meadows-Vienna, Lake
Mohawk, Columbia and Portland.
This includes Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 3 and
18.
