Description:
At 319 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bellmawr, or
near Gloucester City, moving southeast at 20 mph. At 304 PM EDT, a
56 mph wind gust was measured at the Philadelphia International
Airport.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Camden, Gloucester City, Cherry Hill, Deptford, Voorhees, West
Deptford, Glassboro, Lindenwold, Bellmawr, Woodbury, Pitman, Clayton,
Berlin, Paulsboro, Magnolia, Westville, Woodbury Heights, National
Park, Brooklawn, and Chesilhurst.
This includes the following highways...
New Jersey Turnpike between exits 2 and 3.
Interstate 76 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 3.
Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 16 and 34.
Interstate 676 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 1.
Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 37 and 44.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Mount Holly NJ.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move
indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
