* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...North Central Mora County in northeastern New Mexico... * WHEN...Until 345 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 146 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 0.75 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Coyote Creek State Park, Guadalupita and El Turquillo. - Heavy runoff from the 2022 Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon burn scar is likely to impact areas along Canada de Carro Rd. and Highway 434 near El Turquillo. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Runoff from rainfall will cause elevated water levels within vulnerable drainages in and downstream of the Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon burn area.
