At 331 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Raton, moving east at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Raton, Sugarite and Sugarite Canyon State Park. This includes the following highways... Highway 64 between Mile Markers 341 and 357. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 445 and 460.
