Description: 
At 340 PM MDT, scattered thunderstorms were developing in the Silver City area, mostly near Pinos Altos and Hurley. With a very dry air mass in place, these storms will produce little or no rain, but will produce highly localized wind gusts to around 50 mph. Individual storms will be very short lived, but additional storms will continue to pop up in the region this evening. Localized blowing dust may also get kicked up, especially along the US-180 corridor south of Hurley. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Silver City, Tyrone, Hurley, Pinos Altos, Cobre, Bayard, Hanover, Fierro, Santa Clara, Fort Bayard, Arenas Valley, City Of Rocks State Park.
