Description:
At 358 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles north of Watrous, or 18 miles southwest of Wagon Mound, moving
east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Valmora, Watrous and Shoemaker.
This includes Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 367 and 382.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
