Description:
At 628 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20
miles southeast of Elkins, or 40 miles east of Roswell, moving
northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of Northeastern Chaves County.
This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 180 and 200.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
