Description:
At 554 PM MDT, surface observations indicated a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Rowe to Cowles and Ribera, moving
east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Surface observations.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pecos, Upper Colonias, Ribera, El Porvenir, Rowe, Tecolote,
Montezuma, Romeroville, Glorieta and Tererro.
This includes the following highways...
State Road 63 between Mile Markers 0 and 24. Interstate 25 between
Mile Markers 302 and 340.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
