At 355 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Tolar, or 16 miles east of Fort Sumner, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tolar and Taiban. This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 340 and 355.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below one quarter mile at times.
