THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING DUE TO STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY
FOR THE NORTHEAST PLAINS, NORTHEAST HIGHLANDS, THE WEST CENTRAL
MOUNTAINS, WEST CENTRAL BASIN, AND RANGE...
.Southwest winds trend weaker in most areas today, except across the
northeast where critical conditions are likely again during the
afternoon hours. Fire danger trends higher again Tuesday as southwest
winds increase again, including across western portions of the area.
Although widespread critical fire weather conditions are not forecast
either day, the pattern remains conducive for large fire growth going
into mid week.
* AFFECTED AREA...West Central Mountains (Zone 105) and West Central
Basin and Range (Zone 109).
* TIMING...From Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35
mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative Humidity between 8 to 14 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor
burning is not recommended.
