Central Rio Arriba County in north central New Mexico... * Until 445 PM MDT. * At 148 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.25 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
