Description:
At 1032 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain fell, ranging
between 1.5 and 3 inches over the warned area. Although rainfall has
turned light, the threat for flash flooding will continue as runoff
persists.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Southern Roswell.
This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 96 and 104.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
