Description:
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...The West Central Plateau, including Gallup and Zuni Pueblo.
* WHEN...From noon MDT today through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing rainfall
rates in excess of 2 inches per hour Saturday afternoon. This
activity will move slowly westward with repeated rounds of heavy
rainfall possible through Saturday evening. Recent heavy rainfall
will exacerbate the risk for significant flooding in areas
already impacted by flood waters.

Instruction:
Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take
action should flooding develop. Do not drive your vehicle or walk
into areas where water covers the roadway as the water depth may be
too great to allow you to cross safely.
