Northeastern Pike County in northeastern Pennsylvania... * Until 300 AM EDT. * At 124 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Matamoras, Shohola, Wurtsboro, Milford, Bloomingburg, Millrift, Oakland, Hartwood, Glen Spey, Rock Hill, Haven, Greeley, Highview, Phillipsport, Mongaup Valley Wildlife Area, Forestburgh, Basha Kill, Twin Lakes, Barryville and Mt Prosper. Locally moderate to heavy rain continues to impact the area and could lead to additional flooding issues.
