Description:
At 727 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 11 miles north of Ohio to near Sherrill, moving east
at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Structure damage at an unknown location reported to 911
dispatch. Other reports of downed trees and wires.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Utica, Rome, Kirkland, Westmoreland, Paris, Deerfield, Floyd,
Whitesboro, New York Mills, and Yorkville.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Binghamton.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
