* Until 830 PM EDT.
* At 733 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Newport to near Augusta, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. Numerous reports of downed trees and
wires in Oneida county.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Utica, Oneida, Kirkland, Westmoreland, Paris, Deerfield,
Whitesboro, New York Mills, Sherrill, and Yorkville.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Binghamton.
