* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...East Central Caldwell County in western North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 600 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 434 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated as much as 2.50 to 3 inches of rain had fallen across a small area near Cedar Rock. Elevated stream levels are expected across Lower Creek, Zacks Fork Creek and select tributaries with flooding of a few low lying areas in these basins likely. Remain wary of high water conditions along Highway 18 between Kings Creek and Lenoir and near Zacks Fork Rd. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
