* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Buncombe County in western North Carolina... Northern Henderson County in western North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 745 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly especially in the Fletcher/Mills River/Avery Creek area where the heaviest rainfall totals have fallen in the last hour or so. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen so far. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hendersonville, Arden, Mills River, Fletcher, Etowah, Mountain Home, Chimney Rock Village, Asheville Airport, Skyland, Biltmore Park, B.R. Parkway-Mount Pisgah To The NC Arboretum, Bat Cave, Chimney Rock State Park, Mount Pisgah, B.R.
