* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive and repetitive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Chatham, Durham, Granville, Orange, Person, Vance and Wake. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, urban areas, and near small creeks and streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 508 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate that between 1 and 3 inches of rain has fallen across parts of the area. While the rain has fallen over a long period of time, additional heavy rain could result in minor flooding in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
