Description:
At 259 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Benson to near Shannon. Movement was east
at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Goldsboro, Clinton, Dunn, Benson, Godwin, Hope Mills,
Erwin, Eastover, and Coats.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 81 and 41.
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 325 and 353.
