At 421 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Ansonville, or 14 miles north of Wadesboro, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Albemarle, Troy, Badin Lake, Biscoe, Ansonville, Norwood, Badin, Mount Gilead, Star, and Candor. This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 33 and 54.
