At 244 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fuquay-Varina, or 10 miles north of Lillington, moving east at 15
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Clayton, Holly Springs, and Lake Benson.
This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 304 and 316.
