Description: 
At 318 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Franklin. This storm was nearly stationary, drifting only slowly toward the northwest. Additional storms could develop through 400 PM across Macon County. . HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and up to half-inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Franklin, Ellijay, Burningtown, Otto, Wayah Bald, Cullasaja, and Cowee.
