Description:
At 628 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Downtown Concord, or over Charlotte Motor
Speedway. This storm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
West Concord, Harrisburg, Charlotte Motor Speedway, University City,
and Northeast Charlotte.
